Naomi Campbell giving up modelling for baby
“That’s it, when I have babies I’m giving up this business.”, said Naomi during a visit to a maternity hospital in Nigeria, where she cradled a baby and spoke to doctors and mothers.
The super model was in Nigeria for the THISDAY Africa Rising music event with her friend, model and actor Tyson Beckford. “Naomi donated six sacks of toys to the hospital and said to one doctor she was ‘hoping and praying that things change if Barack Obama gets in.’ ” said a friend.
The model, famous for her bad temper, was recently convicted of assaulting two police officers in an air rage incident. In an interview with Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, Naomi insisted she wasn’t a bad person: “When people say all these negative things about me, I ignore them. Let them be negative - but do that away from me. It hurts, but I know there is much more good in the world.”
